In the great patio of the Oberoi Marrakech, we let the water carry the garden. Plinths set on glass bases rose from the emerald pool, each crowned with vanda orchids, purple anthuriums, hydrangea, moss and airy tillandsia, so the whole installation appeared to float. Ivory lounges dressed in emerald velvet, brass lanterns and low candlelight framed the dining tables, while sculpted plaster arches and zellige answered the palette of lilac, ivory and deep green.
