Fashion Show Caftan

For one evening, a carved Moroccan palace became a couture runway. We built a wild garden around a scalloped marble basin — alliums, blue hydrangeas, white lilies, dahlias and moss cascading onto the stone — so the caftans passed through a living meadow. The palette answered the zellige: lilac, ivory, cobalt and moss green, held together by the golden light of Moorish chandeliers.
