One Thousand and One Nights Soirée

At the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech, we suspended a sky of pierced brass lanterns above the dining room and let their filtered light do the storytelling. Round tables in ivory linen carried brass vessels, ivy, white blooms and low candles, while amber uplighting warmed the walls and the palm grove glowed beyond the glass — a Thousand and One Nights read in a contemporary, restrained key.
